Fishing in the Eastern Carribean
St. Vincent and the Grenadines is located at Latitude 13° 15N Longitude 61° 12W. It is an archipelago of
islands in the Eastern Caribbean, familiarly known as the "Gem of the Antilles". St. Vincent features
emerald green mountains (with a now dormant volcano to the north) and valleys, beautiful beaches of
black and golden sand, while the neighboring Grenadines are known for their white sand beaches and
unparalleled boating and fishing. The islands are surrounded by the crystal clear waters of the Atlantic
Ocean on the East and the Caribbean Sea on the West, all teeming with marine life including a variety of
billfish. St. Vincent's closest neighbours are Grenada, 75 miles to the south, St. Lucia 24 miles to the north
and Barbados 100 miles east.
